For runners who like to go running at the night through the city, Salomon has brought them the Agile Nocturne 2 Set, a hydration backpack designed for a short training in which you need to carry the necessary water and some space to store your smaller personal items.
The French house used an elastic Airmesh 3D in 4 directions to move to the rhythm of your body and keep you dry and ventilated during the day. The shoulder pads of this trekking backpack have perforated and padded EVA that makes it feels comfortable, stable, and flexible, thanks to its adjustable straps.
This running backpack brings included two drums of 500 ml, an elastic kangaroo pocket to carry your keys, cards, and even a small jacket and 2 front pockets for the drums. And to give you more security, they have incorporated reflective details so that you are visible at the night.

Good, but some niggles

I wore this straight away on a tough 33 mile training run, some of which was in very heavy rain. At one point I was ready to throw it in the bin. The zip pocket claims to hold a phone, but it just won't - it's long and very narrow. The front pockets are okay for a gel or two, but not much else because the water bottles push up against them. The flasks are soft, but with the harder, wider tops. There's a loop attached to the water pocket that fixes the flask tops in place. This works well and keeps them from slipping down as they empty, although I do wonder how long they'll last. There are side ribbons that pull the pack tight. These work well, but leave the excess ribbons trailing, which can be annoying over a long run. You could cut them back, I suppose. The front is fixed by some elasticated bands. They do come slightly loose during the run, but they are really easy to pull back into place and they weren’t a problem. My main issue is that I experienced chaffing around the neck, to the point that it broke the skin and was quite painful. I’d thought I might get some chaffing so I wore a t-shirt with a collar. This helped, but I think the heavy rain might have made things worse. However, I decided to use it for a 30 mile, very hilly, very hot race and it was near perfect. Maybe my body had got used to it, but there was no chaffing, or maybe it will return when it rains. I have a 5 litre Salomon race vest, which I love, but because it covers the whole back it can lead to over-heating in hot weather and certainly increases sweating. This 2 litre covers very little of the back, but gives you enough space in the pouch to store essential kit in a summer ultra – it would be tougher in a winter one where full waterproofs might be essential. It performed really well in hot conditions. It looks great as well, and apparently doubles as a reflective top. So, some niggles, but very good in certain circumstances
