This is an ideal running shoe for those making the transition from a traditional to a minimalist shoe. The thinner sole lets you feel your run, connecting you to the true barefoot running experience. Vibrams primary design function for the V-Run is for all types of running and in particular road running and gym/treadmill. The special Vibram compounds in the sole offer endurance grip and comfort. The upper has a secure speed lace fastening system and breathable and lightweight upper. Can be worn in full replacement of a conventional trainer or as part of, for example a strength and conditioning training program. Designed to compliment and flex with the natural movements of your feet. The sensory feedback known a proprioception can allow your brain to make better quicker decisions when foot planting. Gloves for the feet!

Just like the fingers of our hands, which we do not cover, to be able to use them to the fullest, we should do the same with the fingers of our toes.! leaving them free to feel, inspect and inform us what is happening beneath them when we move. ! Good design and very good idea from Vibram..! Congratulations. I am 72 years old, I have been running since I was 55 and trail running for a few years. My last UTR with the FF-VRUN was the 30K on the Martial glacier in Tierra del Fuego, Argentina.

Feels barefoot. Surprisingly light and durable. The sensation on the soles of your feet is fresh, and this stimulus makes running fun. It awakens the enjoyment of free movement of the toes, as well as the original strength and function of the toes. It gives effective results in a short period of time. I will continue to wear them.

Wow! Seriously, fivefingers became my favorite shoes the day I opened the box. As for the size, my feet are 26.5cm and EU43 feels just a tad large.

this is my 3rd v run. i have been using v run for all my training run ranging from 5k all the way to marathon distance. though this shoe may not produce the best racing performance, but as a trainer, this shoe promote good running form and excellent terrain interpretation. one can alter ,our lean, cadence and stride length naturally depending on incline, slop and bent of the terrain. to me this is the best "feel good" shoe one can invest on.

I wear Five-Fingers for health reasons. Walking barefoot is the best thing you can do to your spine, an orthopedist once told me. This is my fourth pair of five fingers. The right shoe for every purpose and every weather condition. Thanks!!!

This is my first pair of Vibram V-Run. Run barefoot before during my young age and training. Come across this shoes from Youtube Vibram KSO sharing. Feel so bad that i just wear this shoes now. Tested 5k run, extremely good and comfort. I wish i come across this shoes 20 years earlier. Aged near 50, too bad to know Vibram lately, hope it will not be too late, at least at my nearly 50 got this on my feet. Will stick to minimalist shoes after this.

Just love V-Run I use them mainly for running, all from 10k up to so far longest 76k trail running, several asphalt marathons etc. Really recommend these for natural running. i run on gravel, asphalt, trail with them.

i wear the five fingers for a year and find it the only one giving me the sense of freedom to run. no more compression around my toes. but i find my new pair ordered in runnerinn having ,problem in the shoelaces lock which is not smooth and stuck with the laces tightly.

I have ordered the Vibram five fingers V Run Blue. this is my 15th pair and these run great too. a beautiful color blue. I have already traveled over 11,000 KM on these shoes and now I walk much nicer. No more heel landing

I've been walking on it for a few days now and as Vibram himself describes, your feet have to get used to it. Now I walk a lot barefoot myself and find myself walking the same way with these shoes as you would barefoot. This is exactly why I bought them.
