The Salomon Trailster 2 Goretex shoes have been designed to satisfy the needs of expert runners who are looking for optimized grip and traction, comfortable adjustment, impermeability, cushioning, and lightness for their trail running training or competition activities.
The French house chose the Contagrip MD sole to build these mountain shoes because they have deep and durable studs that resist wet, dry, rocky or muddy surfaces. The high performance EVA midsole, Energy Cell, gives maximum cushioning, stability, and reduces vibrations caused by impact.
The Goretex membrane is highly resistant to water and facilitates ventilation of the foot. The Sensifit system is customized, easy and comfortable at the foot of each runner. The upper is made of a single layer mesh that allows the breathability of the foot and also adapts easily so that your mountaineering sessions last longer and longer.
With a fully waterproof Gore-Tex membrane, this lightweight shoe will keep your feet comfortable and protected while out on the trail. Inspired by our top-performing trail running shoes, the TRAILSTER 2 provides all the grip you need (optimized Contagrip® outsole) and a secure foothold with a comfortable, supportive fit.

Very comfortable, dry shoes and the sole grips great but remember to ask for one more number than usual, I have the Solomon ultra glide and I asked for one more number for the Salomón trailster 2 (being the same brand)

Come up a little tight but brake in quickly and are very comfortable. Keep my feet completely dry thanks to the Gore-Tex and cool at the same time. Really good grip will serve me well this winter. Also look fantastic.
