Supercross Blast Goretex shoes give you excellent coverage against the adverse weather conditions so you can run with total protection, comfort, cushioning, and maximum grip.
The Contagrip TD sole is very resistant and durable so you can face the most varied terrains, from technical to dust. This running shoe comes with multidirectional studs that facilitate grip on wet or slippery surfaces. The EnergyCell midsole cushions the step so the feeling is softer and comfortable.
The Goretex membrane is responsible for offering total impermeability and breathability, so the foot stays dry at all times. The upper is made with ripstop fabric that is highly resistant to abrasions.
These trail running shoes have the Sensifit system that adjusts perfectly to the foot, wrapping it like a sock. The Ortholite insole increases breathability, cushioning, and durability. The Quicklace system facilitates tying with a single pull.

Very good trail running shoe

These are overall a good pair of trainers. They are comfortable, the sole is very good for trails, I use them running around the edge of fields and there is a lot of grip thanks to the chevron lugs. However, the quicklace system is pretty pointless, the lace is a very thin and is the "slippery" kind of synthetic thread. I have quite a wide foot around the balls of my feet, so on all my shoes I loosen the bottom area of laces. However when doing it with the quicklace system, because they are so thin and "slippery", after a few steps the laces "slip" and tense up where I loosen them and loosen up where I tightened them. The shoes are also very narrow, as is standard for Salomon, however these are described as a "generous fit", there isn't much generous about the fit of these shoes and I still had to go an extra size up to end up with a spare inch or so in length.

Compared to the Salomon XA Pro 3Dv8 shoe, this shoe is a lot lighter and smoother. So also easier to use as a running shoe on the road, yet sturdy enough to take on the rougher terrain. For the really rocky conditions, however, this may make the XA Pro better suited
