With significant reductions in profile and weight, Nike’s Winflo series has been almost completely renewed in its sixth edition to offer a pair of modern, very stylized running shoes that bring great advantages for neutral runners.

In the midsole, the Oregonians have decided to implement again a combination of two Zoom Air units in the heel and forefoot areas, with the first of them receiving a considerable improvement in responsiveness to make transitions smoother during running and reducing applied effort to the Achilles tendon. In addition, a layer of Cushlon foam in the midfoot area contributes to greater flexibility and to add an additional cushioning level.

The Zoom Winflo 6 have also received a renewed design in their outsole, whose front and back sections have been curved to reduce the foot’s contact time with the ground and to make running more fluid. To improve the traditional waffle pattern in the outsole, an articulated rail has been added in the lateral area to increase this critical zone’s durability, whereas the sole’s rubber continues to be very durable while generating an excellent traction in urban surfaces.

In the Zoom Winflo 6, Nike has also implemented a thinner, low-profile upper in comparison to the previous edition, extending the ankle collar and reducing its surface to lower friction and to give it a gentler touch. Also, the upper’s mesh has been redesigned to increase adaptive breathability through the toecap, improving airflow through the foot. In a fluid design that speaks the language of fast, the Nike Air Zoom Winflo 6 has less bulk and a more sculpted profile than previous versions. It has 2 Zoom Air units for targeted responsiveness in the forefoot and heel. Up top, engineered mesh optimizes breathability.
