On June 28th, 30 runners gathered at La Comuna Café to participate in the Altra shoe test event.

From 18:30 onwards, the athletes started to arrive at La Comuna Café, a place famous among sports fans and especially among cyclists.

Upon arrival, each participant received a gift from Altra, a red T-shirt, along with the test shoes, which included the Torin 7 and Via Olympus models. The attention was in charge of the Altra managers, Edu and Alex, where they explained the characteristics and technologies present in the shoes that they were going to test.

Once they had listened to the explanation and equipped with the shoes, the group got ready to go running. The destination started at the Parc de la Devesa, a spectacular park that offers an ideal environment for running without the hassle of cars. There, some fun exercises were done to test the reactivity of the shoes, and the results were really surprising.

With enthusiasm growing, the group headed for the Girona city wall, an impressive site offering a picturesque route. One after another, the runners enjoyed the experience of running along this beautiful promenade. The route also included a visit to the majestic Girona Cathedral, an iconic landmark that had become the setting for the famous TV series "Game of Thrones".

After running along the city walls and marvelling at the cathedral, the participants had only 300 metres to go before they reached La Comuna Café. 

Once back at La Comuna Café, all runners were able to enjoy a well-deserved rest and recovery. To hydrate and recharge their energy, refreshing bottles of water with lemon were offered, accompanied by delicious sweets provided by La Comuna. Participants shared anecdotes, impressions,...

The Altra test day at La Comuna Café on June 28th became an unforgettable experience for all the attendees, who had the opportunity to try the latest generation of running shoes in a unique environment and enjoy the company of other running enthusiasts. Without a doubt, it was an afternoon full of energy, excitement and satisfaction for all those present.
