With the new official shoes of the Maratona do Porto 2023, you will be transported to the sunsets of the Portuguese city. For this edition, we have chosen the versatile R.2000 model bathing it in blue and orange, colors that unite the sky and the sea traversed by a graphic of the Don Luis I bridge, from where the entire panoramic view of the city can be seen. The R.2000 model is the most complete from Joma, adapting to different runner profiles and different uses (rolling, recovery, training, among others). Recommended for fast paces (less than 4 minutes/km) providing high performance in terms of lightness, comfort, and responsiveness. The upper is made of breathable custom nylon thanks to small VTS perforations. This way, the temperature inside will remain constant. We have added JOMA SPORTECH thermosealed TPU in the lacing area to provide firmness, support, and fit to the upper. On the other hand, between the lining and the main material, we have included an adjustment strap structure. The elastic and ultralight tongue is sewn to the lining in order to prevent any slippage. The midsole is lightweight and flexible. Featuring a high profile with a 10mm drop to optimize responsiveness. The rear part has been constructed with FLY REACTIVE technology, a super lightweight foam that propels the runner, making the run more comfortable. The rear part is made of higher density phylon in order to absorb impacts. Both are materials from the FULL DUAL PULSOR system. The R.2000 shoes are among Joma´s asphalt rivals. The sole is made of highly abrasion-resistant DURABILITY rubber and highly resistant on the asphalt.

- Injected rubber which means that there are no seams or other rigid materials in the upper part of the shoe. Providing lightness, comfort, increased flexibility and better adjustment to the foot. Its thickness varies depending on the protection and resistance in every area.

VTS:
- A ventilation system allowing for greater airflow within the shoe, keeping the foot temperature constant, avoiding the over-heating of the foot.
