Perfect For running and volleyball

I bought these shoes mainly for playing volleyball and they’re absolutely perfect. Foot hold in place and great for jumping. Good indoor and outdoor.
Good shoe but are half a size smaller than other altra models

Beautiful and at first sight good shoes, but they are half a size smaller than the Escalante from Altra. So within the same brand you still notice size differences that should not be allowed. On average, Altra is half a size smaller than other brands, but this makes it difficult to order online.

A very comfortable runner from the first wear. I've been using Altra for the last 6 years. Love them. However I did find that the Torin 5 is just a fraction smaller than previous fits as there was slight pressure on my big toe which was annoying on long runs. I'll go a half size bigger on my next pair. The tongue is a little stiffer and causes a bit of aggrevation with low socks, but no issues with normal running socks(above the ankle). I did find that my big toes wore through the upper after only 200miles. Maybe a little more re-enforcement in the toe box would help. The coushing in the soles held up well with over 500miles and still feel bouncy. I use them for everything from 5km up to marathon distance. Great shoes.

Altra Torin 5 shoe, excellent for comfort and lightness. Purchased size 44.5 with foot 27.5 cm, next time I will buy size 45, because I think those few more millimeters are necessary. I am at the first experience with this type of shoes and I must say that at the moment they seem very good. I will only be able to do a more exhaustive evaluation in a couple of months. It is the first purchase I make with this seller and I must say that I have found a lot of seriousness and precision for the delivery date and for the product received, which was brand new. I will definitely be back to buy on the site. FIVE STARS fully deserved.

Perhaps it all depends on the individual structure of the leg, but I did not notice any problems that runners describe. Very comfortable sneakers. I ran a half marathon just by taking them out of the box! The only thing is, the sizes differ from the line of sneakers released earlier.

The shoe does run small. The rest is top notch. There is not much cushioning in the sole. Your ankle is firmly in the shoe and the toes have plenty of room if you don't order it too small :-)

I had tried the Rivera before, was unsure, and then ordered the Torin5 (same size 43 / 9.5) and it now has the "expected" Altra feeling, so here the combination of good, not too high damping and the palpably wide toe box (here the Rivera is unusually "narrow")

Torin 5 continues its good development. The shoes are beautiful and fast, fit me well. I have been using Altra running shoes since 2018 and I no longer wear others.
