King 1.5 is a trail running shoe for men that guarantees you greater stability even on the most difficult terrain. At the top, this model includes reinforced mesh that contributes to the passage of air, keeping your skin dry and fresh. This version is quick drying and has a high resistance to breakage.
The closure of this model is the traditional one with a cord distributed along the instep and additionally it has: the FootLock strap that has been located under the arch to provide greater comfort; the Footshape toe box element helps the fingers stay extended, favoring their movement and the Zero platform that keeps the front and rear at the same height to reduce the blows generated during pronation.
Inside, you will feel more on your feet because it includes a neoprene heel. The Vibram outsole of this sports shoe has 6-millimeter ear cups that promote grip.
The Altra King MT is made for runners who embrace mud, rocks and burly mountain climbs and has made its mark as the quintessential king of the mud. The King MT 1.5 features a new upper with reinforced mesh and enhanced drainage features at the toes and medial midfoot, The FootLock™ strap has been moved medially and lower down the arch for increased comfort, and the neoprene inside the heel is softer and more secure. The awesome, grippy Vibram® outsole, 6mm lugs, and the dual nature Altra EGO™ midsole are too good to change, so we kept them the same.

Altra manufactures the perfect shoes, both for running on asphalt, as for tracks, as for the less friendly mountain, which is where its virtues and characteristics stand out. The Altra King 1.5 have excellent foot support, ample interior space so that it expands and does not suffer chafing. A great grip on the ground, both uphill and downhill, on dry ground and in mud or wet rock. I think he has plenty of velcro, he complies. As always and for any terrain, it does not disappoint. My only brand. Totally recommended.

I wouldn’t trade these shoes for anything! One of the things ai love about Altras is I can wear them straight out of the box and never have any problems. On the feet these are light and have superb grip. They got a good test run last week through some very muddy terrain with added rocks and loads of tree roots and some short steep elevations and I had no problems at all while others were sliding. Comfort wise - absolutely perfect and the wide toe box suits my feet perfectly. Ery highly recommended!

Looking for great SG shoe with lot of space for foot? Do not search any more. This shoe is a beast in snow or mud, keeping the foot on place like it is glued, and about The Space - that is what makes Altra brand so precious to me. Very satisfied until now. Lets see how long these feisty grip will last.

have had the altra's for a few weeks and managed a few runs. so far no issues. grip seems good. build quality seems good. still getting used to the zero drop ,(my old shoe had 10mm so quite a change). having ,wide feet the massive toe box has actually allowed me to buy the correct size for once - i usually go at least a full size up to get more width but these are sweet.

I used it in a mountain course with rain and the grip super good, no problem. They are somewhat hard, but it is going well for certain long trail courses so as not to bounce so much.
