The boost™ midsole returns in the X9000L4 with a design optimized to offer increased cushioning at the forefoot and propel you effortlessly at ever-increasing speeds. The rubber outsole maintains the X9000L3’s outstanding job, improving traction over asphalt and other urban surfaces while adding stability thanks to its wedge-shaped heel.
Where adidas isn´t afraid to make some new changes is on the X9000L4´s upper, where an updated mesh build now blends colorful geometric silhouettes with heat-sealed reinforcements for an out-of-this-world, modern look. The padded heel collar has received an anatomical adjustment for improved grip, combined with the lace closure’s excellent fit at the midfoot.

The shoes are very very comfortable, but in the photographs it is not appreciated that the model has a very pronounced back and the truth is, each size is larger, the more pronounced it is. They are not as pretty as other boosters, but they are just as comfortable.
