It is customary for adidas to predict a new era when one of its classic running silhouettes receives a truly important change. And the adidas Solar Boost 3 running shoes are no exception. Known for its impressive stability and quality, the Solar series adds a new success to its proud history.
The boost™ midsole continues the 3-stripes brand’s phenomenal reputation when it comes to cushioning, with explosive responsiveness that propels you to ever-increasing speeds without loss of comfort or safety. Meanwhile, LEP translates said cushioning into additional propulsion to fill your training days with excitement.
The Solar Boost 3 surprises with major adjustments to the Stretchweb rubber outsole, which now only runs along the outside edge of the shoe and in the center of the forefoot for increased flexibility and acceleration. The Continental™ compound rubber is still synonymous with durability and traction, with an anatomical pattern that increases grip over the asphalt.
Finally, the Primegreen upper - built from recycled materials - makes the most of adidas´ experience in studying aerospace engineering to give you dynamic, stable footwear. Redesigned TPU reinforcements in the midfoot and toecap will further enhance your performance on the race day.

After a good experience with Supernova Glide Boost 6, I have taken the next step to these Solarboost 3. The first thing that caught my attention was the cushioning in the forefoot, which was very comfortable. Another important difference that I have found is that for the same size, the Solarboost 3 are wider, I would say that they give half a number more on the toe of the shoe. This worried me at first, but testing them well tied, I saw that the feet were very stable and did not affect me during the race, and I thought that it can be useful when the foot is more swollen, in summer or at the end of long runs. In general, I think it is a step forward in quality, and although it is not something that matters, I also find them very cool.

It was the first time I tried Adidas, I am an amateur long-distance runner with a training load of between 50-70 km per week. I weigh 77 kg and I use insoles. I was surprised by its comfort and fit, very good tongue and lace closure and very well ventilated. It is the second pair that I spend and its durability is excellent, at least you can get 900 km from it without excessive degradation. I hope that the following Solar Boost models continue along this line.

When buying the shoes I have had to guide myself with the SIZE GUIDE that is on the Adidas page, of 28 cm that I have standing according to the table it gave me 45 2/3 but when the shoes arrived I was anxious to put them on but I was SURPRISED they were too big. So now to return them and try to order others and guess my size.

A high quality shoe, not excessively soft but enough to walk and run long runs, the sole seems resistant, the lacing and tongues are very comfortable, enveloping but not overwhelming. A 10 for heel comfort, having struggled in the Achilles in the past, that slip-on heel padding is perfect. A very successful design in both black and orange. The mesh is resistant and at the moment I feel comfortable and breathable enough. I recommend it.
