Wool is not smart. It only warms by nature. For the first time X-Technology® Swiss makes wool smart by implementing nunmerous, sophisticated technologies like the 3D Bionic Sphere® System. APANI® MERINO – as pure as nature intended® – naturally cools, warms and dries where necessary and not just where it can. The result is an ecological product, which is developed, designed and manufactured in Europe. The fine yarn, which is spun in Germany, is made from Saxon-Merino wool with a diameter of 18.5 micrometers containing an elastic and natural component. This combination guarantees the highest degree of form stability and wearing comfort.

Two-Step 3D-BionicSphere® System
The high-tech knitting technology ensures optimal grip and climate comfort. The different ribs and surface constructions support and transport moisture as well as warmth.

Targeted insulation of individual body parts against ambient coldness can prevent the body from getting cold. This is why ISO-Pads over the hipbones retain body heat that is necessary to guarantee interior organ functionality.

Protects knees from the cold. The silver lining provides the necessary heat reflection, keeping the heat inside the clothing system.



3D-BionicSphere® System at the tailbone
The sweat of the lower back area is conducted through the 3D-BionicSphere® System to the tailbone for evaporation. The SweatTraps® on the lower back are targeted specifically at catching sweat flowing toward the buttocks. This first phase, which often leads to friction sores, is interrupted before it can even begin.



ISO-Base
During movement the pants are stretched over the seat area, when sitting bodyweight pushes the material together. In both these situations, cold bridges can occur. The anatomically formed ISO-Base has special air channels that trap body heat and prevent the large gluteal muscles from undercooling.
