The MTN RACER features a 30mm x 25mm stack height. Topo’s proprietary Vibram® Megagrip outsole design delivers optimal traction on any surface. Slightly firmer than the Ultraventure, the 3-piece injected EVA midsole is performance tuned for trail racing and speed-hiking. A lightweight rip-stop mesh upper with printed overlays offers a secure fit, while medial and lateral drainage ports enhance water release and quick drying. A 5mm anti-microbial Ortholite® footbed resists compression set and odor.

Great shoe, after many years of mountain running I think I have found the right shoe for me. The megagrip sole is truly a guarantee. Then the shoe when fastened is enveloping on the instep, precise and protective in running especially downhill. With all these features it is a very light shoe. Take one more number I have a 44 I took a 45 and it's perfect. I will definitely buy another pair.

I used these shoes for 50km of training, 620km of light hiking during a great crossing of the French Alps gr5-gr55-gr52. the megagrip vibram sole lasts and allows long distance on granite and other abrasive rock. I liked the lightness, the fit, the room for the toes, the small drop, and the large stack high. no hole, no sole detachment, just the inside tongue which is split. so good i just bought a new pair to do the hrp asap. I highly recommend for people with no ankle problem.

Excellent shoe, currently only tested in normal conditions (with dry ground and excellent weather) but they have a really good grip, protective shoe.

I usually wear Altra, but I ordered topo because I was attracted to the balance between the good grip and lightness of the Vibram sole. The size of the toe box is the same as that of Altra, and thanks to the drop, 5mm, the burden on the foot can be reduced. These shoes allow you to enjoy trail running. It is recommended.

With the first run, my experience with MTN Racer is very positive. Just a suitably padded, not too stiff sole and a slightly narrower last than in the Topon ST-3, but still princely wide. The sole looks promising and I look forward to testing the shoe on wet rock, in the actual test conditions of the soles!

Very comfortable shoe with a pretty good seal thanks to the vibram sole. I have a very thin foot and tends to slip slightly like in some other shoes forward when there are very steep descents.
