The Salomon Ultra Pro shoes have been created to run on long distances and versatile terrain, although preferably compact, either dry or wet, where the Wet Traction Contagrip sole grips very well.
In the midsole, we find the EVA and Energy Save compounds, which give it stability and dynamism. Right in the middle of the foot, it has small lugs that increase grip and avoid slips, if you get objects such as rocks or roots.
For this trail running shoe, Salomon opted for a wider last in the fingers, perfect for runners that need to use templates in other shoes.
We must highlight that the Salomon Ultra Pro has a drop of 8mm which gives appropriated cushioning and a stable sensation in each step.
For the upper, the French house used breathable mesh and the D´Haene system for greater support and adjustment, without becoming too tight.

Good cushioning but fragile. They gradually deform. The tongue is very very thin and this causes pain on the top of the feet.

great product for trail. Very good stability, perfect cushioning for trail, although for asphalt a bit mazacón, but that is not its destination. Very comfortable lacing that adapts quickly to the foot. It is not very narrow on the toe like other shoes. The sole is very good, perfect grip and the upper allows you to get into deep puddles, allowing you to keep your foot dry if you pass quickly. It does not go down like a flyer, but it allows you happy rhythms close to 4. The delivery of runnerinn very fast and managing a previous return with great diligence and without wasting your time. Congratulations!!!

I resisted Salomon because I had a bad experience with some in the past, but these Ultra Pro have seemed like super comfortable shoes and adaptable to any distance. I have ordered one size more because it is advised that way from several pages, but I don't think it would have been necessary. Despite wearing a size larger, not a single friction or discomfort on the first outing. Very good product.

Good fit and grip, wide last, sufficient protection against stones, etc. A bit harsh but still have not made kilometers. I think it is a very good purchase. A few months from now it will be possible to give a better opinion.
