The Salomon Speedcross 4 arrives at the market, trail running shoes whose greatest value is in the multidirectional grip of its sole, with more than 30 lugs, which give you maximum support in wet terrain, loose and compact land, grass and even wet rock.
For this shoe, that in all its versions have won many followers, Salomon used the new Contagrip TA sole that implements a combination of materials of rubber to make it lighter and the prominent lugs in the form of a blade bite the terrain without mercy, which it gives you a lot of security.

Super pumps, my 5th pair, I went through the speedcross 5 which disappointed me: bcp sole less resistant to wear. With speed 4 I go up to about 1000 terminals before changing them. The sole of the speed 5 dead after 600 km! So back to basics

Great shoes, I had already tried them in the store to buy the right size. I bring a 46EU of Nike (12US) and for these Salomon (but for all the Salomons in general), I had to buy a 46 2/3 because they wear a little shorter. The shoes are very well made and of absolute quality (they are not the Chinese tarots). Shoes suitable for light trekking or off-road racing or even for outdoor walking but absolutely not suitable for the mountain. Shoes wear very tight so if you have a large foot, leave it alone because it would tighten too much foot and ankle. Overall good shoes as long as the right number is chosen, are used for non-extreme purposes and have a very thin foot. A bit expensive, all in all, but of excellent quality, design and materials without a doubt.

Mixed opinion: these shoes are very comfortable during D + and D-. However, as soon as there is a passage on bitumen, it becomes uncomfortable, the absence of amortization was cruelly felt. They offer, however, beautiful sensations.
