It improves the first Salomon softflasks since the back is hard and facilitates the introduction in the backpack pocket, the mouth is wider and allows to fill them with greater comfort. The polyethylene weld finishes on the bottle also look better. Good product

This bottle design definitely helps with loading it into the pocket on a vest, but the unique design also means it can easily come out. This would work best with a vest that has elastic around the pouch opening, allowing you to keep the bottle in place. I do like the idea of the wide opening to refill and the quick fit into the pocket, but I had to keep adjusting my vest to keep the bottle in place. I think I can come up with a way to secure it with a strap or something similar, but this may stay in the training rotation instead of the race rotation.

Yes, the hard bottom makes it easier to insert it into the vest than one that doesn´t. It´s worth it.
