Being Nike’s best known trail running shoes, each new version of the Wildhorse series arouses great demand and interest among outdoor runners. In 2019, this series’ fifth edition returns with a plethora of improvements aimed at its upper, to make it softer and more breathable while providing better support in the midfoot area.
Manufactured in a double-layer knit made of synthetic mesh, the Air Zoom Wildhorse 5 not only have a very high breathability thanks to a lighter mesh but also provide a snug fit through several thermo-sealed reinforcements located along the toecap and heel. Flywire cables have been replaced by an asymmetric lace closure to accentuate the Wildhorse 5’s grip in specific instep zones.
The Phylon midsole is still the Wildhorse 5’s bread and butter, with a Zoom Air unit on the heel to continue providing a very soft cushioning when hiking or running difficult terrain. On their outsole, a combination of sticky rubber in the sole’s center and anti-abrasion rubber on its perimeter ensures overall greater traction over steep, inaccessible terrain.
Built specifically for trails, the Nike Air Zoom Wildhorse 5 keeps you galloping over rough terrain in breathable, multi-layer fabric. A rock plate helps shield your foot, while a Zoom Air heel unit cushions your stride on and off the path.

Wildhorse 3 GTX was good, nr. 5 is better. The midsole, upper and the hell fit is way better, but they fell half size smaller. I recommend it to people with wide feet.

Excellent running shoes. Only the indicated dimensional grid on the site does not correspond to 441/2, it is 27.5 cm. Although in reality the euro size comes 441/2 28.5 cm.

Good product with resistant sole. Good grip on dry ground, but extremely dangerous on wet steels because they slip. Small size, you must order a minimum 1/2 size more
