With major changes to their sole unit and chassis, the Nike Air Zoom Terra Kiger 5 trail running shoes’s have been upgraded to overcome every road and trail. These outstanding sneakers from the Oregon brand have a more colorful, brighter design than their previous versions while adding new features that turn them into a much more fun experience when it comes to outdoor racing.
The Terra Kiger 5’s midsole has been completely revamped by Nike, introducing a Zoom Air unit in the heel area while allowing the rest of the sole’s cushioning in the hands of the revolutionary Nike React compound. The result of this is a softer, bouncier feel on every step that favors more fluid transitions and brings greater responsiveness.
The Terra Kiger 5’s outsole makes use of a multi-stud pattern to guarantee an all-around, all-terrain traction. This design, made of highly durable rubber and inspired by Nike’s classic waffle-like pattern on its running shoes, reduces wear significantly on this crucial part of the shoe.
Finally, a seamless upper includes a softer, woven-feel high-cut heel stabilizer to improve durability and reduce ankle friction. The Terra Kiger 5’s lace system is composed of Flywire cables to favor an optimal fit in the midfoot, while the upper’s body has lost thickness and gained flexibility to increase its breathability and keep your feet fresh in every condition.

Good shoes, light, and versatile.

I write this comment after having given it 500km of use, and I am going to change them. Without a doubt, a great option for fast training, but also for distances up to a marathon. I used them for a 46K and they have been good for me. Very good stability, low weight and acceptable durability, although wear has been noted in the front mid-area. In general happy with them, I will repeat, this time 6 or 7, it depends on prices.

Very impressed with the shoe, first time using Nike as a trail shoe weight is good and equivalent to previous make (Salomon). Great grip up hill and especially down, very comfortable and would recommend this shoe, thanks Nike

I am faithful unconditional of Salomon, but I decided to try the Kiger 5, and after two long runs, the sensations are very good. The only thing that eye with the size, are wide tip, but are not very high, the nails touch a little. But they are a very comfortable piece of shoes, I would say they are valid until marathon distance.
