I found the product description very professional. New balance, like other brands, makes different width measurements for running shoes, but hardly anyone specifies it. So you happen to buy the same shoe in the same size as the ones you use and you don't like it. You for 1080 have three different widths for the sole of the foot and no other site does that.

Firm to begin with but then becomes a bit boncier, comfortable either way. The upper is very comfortable. Chose the wide fit and fits like a glove. No issues or hot spots.
