Hi! the differences between the 45 and the 45S are the measurements, Forerunner 45 has a ø42mm case and a weight of 36g. The Forerunner 45S has a case size of ø39.5mm and a weight of 32g. The thickness in both versions is 11.4 mm. The straps of the two versions are also different, with the Forerunner 45 being somewhat longer (for wrist diameters between 129 and 197 mm) than that of the Forerunner 45S (suitable for wrist diameters between 124 and 185 mm). Love the watch. No part of the watch looks or feels cheap. The screen washes out / inverts at an angle, but only when the backlight is on. This does not affect usability. On the flip side, sunlight visibility is perfect. Battery life is also great. The strap stretches a little to allow the perfect fit. Only caveat is - if you're ordering from India, be aware that custom duties amount to about 50% of product price. UPS also collects Rs. 500 extra.
