Alpine 2.5L is a waterproof jacket for women made especially for outdoor activities such as trail running. The structure of this sportswear combines Polartec Power Grid fabric that favors the passage of air.
This model incorporates a fitted hood that protects your head from cold gusts of wind, for better adjustability you can roll it up and hook it to prevent it from moving when running. On the front, it has a full zipper that slides smoothly to open and close the sportswear.
You can convert this piece into a small version. The women´s jacket has thumb loops to provide hand protection in windy and cold weather. The version is available in a variety of sizes and colors.

I am very excited about this jacket. It wears wonderfully over a running backpack without slipping or restricting freedom of movement. Unfortunately I haven't been able to test it in heavy rain yet, but it copes wonderfully with light rain and is still amazingly breathable. The only drawback: the jacket could be a tad longer (size L fits me just right with a height of 1.70m, tall women will probably be too short).

I was looking for a rain jacket that I can wear comfortably over my running backpack. Thanks to the clever zipper system, this jacket offers maximum freedom of movement and at the same time protects the backpack from the rain. To what extent the jacket is tight even in heavy rain, I could not yet test. But light rain and wind hold it up great and is also surprisingly breathable. The fit is just right for me (1.72m / size L), but for tall women, the jacket could be a little short. Overall clear purchase recommendation from me.
