The plates are relatively small, but still - in my opinion - big enough. Assembly is quick and easy: clip onto the Z-poles and off you go

Easy to handle and useful on snow

The snow baskets were timely delivered. I didn't realize before purchasing the snow baskets that flex tips are required to be able to install the snow baskets. I have the standard tips that works well when hiking on trails and granite but flex tips work better when walking on ice.
