I have no complaints with these but I completely wore out 2 sets in a very rocky tough 11 day track. So you need to carry spares. They also click on the rocks as you wear of the top of the rubber but again unavoidable

It's a shame that these tips don't come with the BlackDiamond sticks as standard, as I find them more versatile than the metal tips. These last ones are only effective on wet rocks (one hangs better) or compacted dry earth (one sinks better); in the other cases, these rubber tips are equivalent or more pleasant to use, and thus prove to be much more versatile. And they are even compatible with large rubber tips, if you prefer not to wear them out before long use on asphalt.
