Order received through mrw in Andalusia in less than 40 hours since I made it, perfect time and delivery. The shoes come to me in their original box, a detail, other stores send them without box and loose. They are the first asics I buy and, although I have always used first brands, I never opted for this one. the last purchases have been salomon that I have had to abandon because I have a wide instep and the shape that this brand manufactures is too narrow. As soon as you open the box, you see that the photographs on the web do not honor the shoe, they are much more beautiful in reality. I try them on and I notice the padding along the entire foot that adjusts but does not tighten, the truth is that they fit like a glove, perfect. The laces are well fixed with a couple of knots, in the brand that I had been using with three and even four knots they were untied, a nuisance. they are flexible and with remarkable cushioning. my first run has been 15km. The first thing I have noticed is that the footfall falls from the outside but pulls the knee inward in the movement, they are neutral, but I, who am somewhat supinator, may have noticed it for that. On the flat it doesn't take long to get used to it, on slopes this movement seems great but on descents it bothers me and I have to slow down. I hope it improves in the next few days. the damping, although they do not have a drop, excessive, I love this push that they give, even when climbing. good grip on dirt lanes and on asphalt even on wet sidewalks has responded well. I have tried them in a couple of sections with mud and very satisfied, they do not skid and with moderate studs, the mud does not stick too much. My opinion is that these shoes can go well for lanes, roads and clear paths without too much vegetation, the upper, made for good perspiration, is sure to produce snags in grass or scrub. Furthermore, the dimensions of the studs make me suspect that for more aggressive trails they may not last long and on asphalt I think that wear can be fast. We will see in a few weeks how they go but I see them more for running than for trail running. in short, very satisfied with the purchase in this first impression. You don't have to spend 120-150 euros to have good sneakers. and I think I have found a brand and a store for the next few years.
