Although it maintains the classic structure, it has a renewed aesthetic with respect to the previous version. In the midsole, it has two materials that contribute to the cushioning of impacts: the natural fibers of FlyteFoam that hardens the structure and FlyteFoam Propel that allows you to bounce, easily, after each stride. In the back and metatarsal areas, gel technology improves foot transition.
The sole structure has an outer edge ´´Lateral Full Ground Contact´´ that gives more stability to the tread. To help grip, its solid rubber compound prevents maximum heel wear. Jacquard mesh facilitates ventilation, is light and adapts to the shape of the foot.
Celebrating 21 years as a staple in the neutral category, the GEL-NIMBUS 21 delivers the best ride yet. A new FlyteFoam Propel midsole delivers a sensational underfoot feeling of comfort and bounce. The double layer jacquard mesh upper provides a premium fit and more room in the toe area without sacrificing flex and support through the midfoot. This new upper adapts and protects the runners foot throughout the run. With new FlyteFoam Lyte and Propel, the midsole creates a more plush / energetic ride in a lighter weight package.
