Para trail y caminos de tierra muy poco técnicos y prácticamente lisos se podrían usar, aunque la suela tiene pinta de que en esos terrenos va a durar un suspiro. Para trail técnico mejor olvidarse: la suela y el upper no son los más adecuados para ese terreno y se rompería enseguida la zapatilla (que no es barata precisamente), además de tener una posibilidad muy alta de acabar lesionado. Mejor usar otros modelos de zapatillas más específicas y/o polivalentes para tirar al monte como las cabras. No he notado tanto el suelo como con otras zapatillas minimalistas de otras marcas, por lo que la fuerza de los músculos plantares no se trabajan tanto aguantando los impactos y no se resienten apenas. No obstante, el trabajo a nivel de sóleos y muslos sí que me ha parecido brutal, igual o incluso mayor que con esas otras zapatillas de otras marcas. Mi conclusión es que, efectivamente, son zapatillas para rendimiento deportivo de carreras rápidas y de corta distancia (que es lo que yo buscaba cuando las compré), tal y como anuncia el fabricante y comentan los analistas de diversas webs/revistas de calzado deportivo. Y bien usadas y exprimidas tienen toda la pinta de ser una gozada. Para mejorar la propiocepción, fuerza muscular en los pies, hacer la transición al minimalismo, hacer rodajes largos, carreras de larga distancia, etc., yo utilizaría otros modelos de Altra o de otras marcas que fueran menos exigentes. Aunque para gustos los colores y dependerá también de la adaptación personal que tenga cada uno a este tipo de calzado.
