Product description Altra Superior 2 Trail Running Shoes

Superior 2 is a trail running shoe for women ideal for training or competition of activities such as hiking or fastpacking. This Altra model resembles the previous ones in its external appearance.

At the front, the training shoe includes the Footshape toe box element to help keep the toes extended, promoting their movement. Inside, you will enjoy greater comfort because its intermediate insole offers greater flexibility. In the external area, it is made with quick-drying mesh to keep your feet dry and fresh for longer.

The cushioning system of hiking shoe is lightweight and includes Trail Claw technology that has studs under the metatarsal to improve balance and grip. It also includes the StoneGuard element that helps protect you from the legs and from the most difficult roads. Also, the heel and forefoot are kept at the same distance, strengthening the calf muscles.
Claw your way to the top with the all-new Superior. The Superior 2.0 updates our versatile, lightweight trail running shoe with more grip and less weight. The FootShape™ toe box lets your toes relax and spread out in uphill and downhill trail conditions while the fully cushioned Zero Drop™ platform helps you maintain proper form across long distances. TrailClaw™ outsole technology features canted lugs beneath your metatarsals for ultimate gripping onin the gnarliest of terrain. A removable StoneGuard™ rock protection plate protects your feet from sharp rocks and can be removed when being used on less demanding terrain. InnerFlex™ midsole technology gives your foot that extra degree of responsiveness across unpredictable terrain.

I love the shoes! Use them for trail running. I usually wear 37 in street shoes, here I have taken 37.5 and they fit perfectly :) Can only recommend them!

They are very comfortable and the foot is not squeezed anywhere. Although they look like roses, they are red, but very pretty. Order one size more.
