Paradigm 4.5 is a running shoe for men that helps you cover hundreds of kilometers keeping your feet comfortable. As part of its 30-millimeter cushioning system, it includes the Altra Ego midsole, which stands out for allowing flexibility to fold the part, as well as allowing an amazing return of energy. It also includes a dynamic support that helps reduce the impacts produced during pronation. Inside, you will feel that your feet are well padded.
In the upper part, the version includes a mesh layer that improves ventilation. The closure of this sports shoe is the traditional one with laces distributed on the instep. after 4 years running with vibram five fingers i started having ,problems in my right foot. because i love the feeling running with them i wanted to keep the benefits of of the vff but with some more cushioning, i bought these and already love them the zero drop ,and the big toe box are great and that's what i liked most on the vff but hated that i was looking for stones or anything on the road that could injured me now i can run with much more confidence and concentrate more in my form.

The first Altra I have, good feelings, beautiful sneakers. Something that I look for in the comments and that can help other people. I have 1.83 cm, 70 Kg, as a rule NB 42.5 chock (running shoes), however for Paradigma 4.5, I selected the suggestion of "runnerinn", in "what is my size" and gave me the 42. It was perfect, great fit.

Good shoes, comfortable and with a lot of cushioning, perhaps too much for medium or light weight, they are a bit small, the page recommended 42.5 to me but they are somewhat fair. Good price. They look weird with so much sole but the aper is pretty.

First time even with Altra shoes, try this morning for a long time they are comfortable and protective. Maybe a little slow for my pace, but on this I have to learn to run for the first time with zero drop. Recommended the site and also the Altra very accurate and light.

It is the third pair that I use, I also run there for 6 - 7 in a row in training without then having the problem that you usually encounter with other sagging shoes in pronation. Of course I also use them in competition (ultramarathon) for many more hours. Every now and then I abandon them (I mean the various Paradigm versions) to go to other brands, but then I have to go back to the Altra Paradigm to avoid problems. Compared to Runnerinn, very satisfied because they have kept the delivery times indicated and often have the best price. Very good !!!

I have been running Altra for a long time, starting with Olympus 2.5 and Olympus 3.0 and Paradigm 4.0. The Guide Rail makes the shoe ideal for runners who need light support without having to buy an extra support shoe. Nothing has changed significantly compared to Paradigm 4.0. The Paradigm 4.5 is characterized by plenty of space for the toes. It is very well suited for longer road runs or runs on gravel paths, it offers poor grip on muddy passages downhill. Not suitable for real trails or downhill passages in wet weather. Subjectively softer than Torin 4.0 and Commission 4.0. Less damped than the Olympus. In addition to the Olympus, my favorite among the Altra shoes.

A little bigger than previous Paradigm 4.0, would go half size down next time. But everything else is pretty much the same: Cushioning, breathability, a bit more rigid than old Paradigm models really high stack hight (very unstable for trail) and a lot of space in the front of the shoe.
If we have selected a wrong size, can we return it for replacement?

The product is very nice, the same cushioning with my 3.0 , very comfortable, but 4.5 is a little bit bigger size than my 3.0 with the same Shoe size 9..5....
