Olympus 3.5 is a trail running shoe for men in which you will find multiple qualities, among them the heel collar has a weak to medium rigidity and its characteristic flexibility type of footwear.
This model was created for midweight pronators for training or competition. If you want to travel long distances that exceed more than two hours, with Olympus 3.5 you will find grip. Its outsole has a less prominent lining that improves traction in areas with large rocks.
As for its cushioning system, you will find that this men´s shoe is a pad under your feet, at each takeoff and descent you will perceive superior comfort. Another detail that this sports shoe includes is related to the width of the last in the upper that allows greater comfort in your toes. Its closure is the traditional one with laces distributed along the instep that favor the support of the foot. The model is available in different color combinations.
The Olympus 3.5 features a new, more durable upper fabric pattern, but otherwise retains the awesome attributes of the 3 to create a more flexible and stable ride. The combination of InnerFlexTM as well as a 3mm reduction in stack height creates a midsole that is more flexible and responsive, and when paired with a widened platform and a grooved outsole, the Olympus provides surprising stability on uneven surfaces. Vibram ® MegaGripTM rubber, sculpted in the Altra TrailClawTM pattern, continues to provide the traction needed for a variety of terrains.

I have tried Hoka, Brooks, Asics and New Balance shoes and the Altra Olympus 3.5 are just light years ahead. They are very comfortable and supportive designed by experienced people who understand the demands required of trail shoes. After a long run you don't feel those aches and pains. Simply, they are the best trail running shoes.

Its taken multiple pairs of Salomons, hokas, asics over the last few years to finally land on Altra. I own the Olympus 2.5s and they are still going strong but these were too good a price to pass up and will be new pair when the time comes. Great fit, loads of room for your toes, no pinching on long runs. Simply awesome
