Lone Peak 5 feels really good. The fit is the same as in the old Lone Peak 4.5 which I really like a lot. A really good all-rounder shoe with both runs and walks. A year of almost daily use has consumed the soles to some extent but the fabric is strong and there are no tears or other defects in the shoes. With wool socks, they also work in frost and snow.

I bought shoes for walking rather than running. But these are the most comfortable sports shoes I've ever had. I have them briefly (even two :)), so far I am very satisfied.

I've been another user for a while! I started with Olympus 3. I also have Olympus 4. But I must say Lone Peak 5 is my definite favorite! Insanely comfortable, feels really bouncy and soft. The first time I put on this shoe I walked 15 km and I had no issues whatsoever! I can definitely recommend this shoe to everyone even those people who have sensitive feet! No blisters, no sore feet. Amazing !!!

I'm devoted to Altra for already more than a year. My first shoes where the Lone Peak 4.5, and Lone Peak 5 feels even better. More comfortable and sturdy. The color is superb as well. Super happy with my purchase!

I love version 5. The protection plate protects more than the 4.5, hoping that the studs hold something more as well. The color is wonderful !!!! For many km !!!!!!

Are these shoes good for doing 21 kilometers of trail running? Because I had seen another model that said specifically that it was for short distances and since the detail of these shoes does not say anything about it, that is my doubt.
