Lone Peak 4.5 is a trail running shoe that will help you hike the trails you want. This model belongs to the horizontal line. In the upper area, its construction allows it to bend with greater flexibility and also provides you with greater comfort.
The closure of this sports shoe is the traditional one with laces that distributed along the instep provide an improved micro-adjustment. Inside, you will notice that its skeletal structure improves performance during pronation.
In its cushioning system, this men´s shoe includes a foam midsole that creates a comfortable feeling under your feet. The Maxtrac outsole has a multidirectional pattern that offers better grip in different conditions. The version is available in different shades.
The updated version of our original trail shoe features a trimmed down layer that offers added flexibility and comfort and a simplified lacing system for improved micro-adjustment. Like all previous versions, the Lone Peak 4.5 includes all of the Altra trail shoe must-haves like StoneGuard™, MaxTrac™, Balanced Cushioning and the FootShape™ toe box. To top off the update, the midsole foam formula has been tweaked just enough to give you a more resilient feel underfoot.

I have loved the Lone Peaks since version 2.0 and these updates keep getting better. The fit is great, traction is great, and I hope the durability will be great. I got over 900kms on my last pair (LP 3) and I put my shoes to the test. I hope these perform as the others have.

Got the beautiful Altra 4.5 and have to say crazy cool shoes! Great sole - nice design and nice and full! My foot length is exactly 28 cm and the US11.5 fits perfectly with enough play for jogging!

Really great shoe, feels great on your foot with nice wide toebox, I’ve wore previous models of this shoe and I have to say the quality of the shoe just keeps getting better, Altra have fixed all the issues with this upgrade that the previous model the 4.0 had especially with the sole, it feels much better and should last much longer, the sizing is bang on and true to size, incredibly grippy shoe and perfect for mountain and trail running, perfect for short training sessions to long ultras races an everyday running shoe. I’ve used Runnerinn.com a lot over the past few years and I’ve never had any problems, always the cheapest prices and fast cheap delivery I would highly recommend.

Very comfortable product even if not the opportunity to have tested them in the field. BE CAREFUL of the size correspondences with the other brands, very imprecise: I wear 44 in Adidas but the 44 on the Altra, it's much too big! Back to the sender therefore ...

perfect timing for an upgrade to the the lp4.0. the first is somewhat more comfortable than my 4.0, subtle changes make a difference and i can see that these will power me through the miles in 2020. zero drop ,isn’t as scary as people make it out to be, you’ll be running more natural and injury free in no time at all!
