Lone Peak 4.5 is a trail running shoe that will help you hike the trails you want. This model belongs to the horizontal line. In the upper area, its construction allows it to bend with greater flexibility and also provides you with greater comfort.
The closure of this sports shoe is the traditional one with laces that distributed along the instep provide an improved micro-adjustment. Inside, you will notice that its skeletal structure improves performance during pronation.
In its cushioning system, this men´s shoe includes a foam midsole that creates a comfortable feeling under your feet. The Maxtrac outsole has a multidirectional pattern that offers better grip in different conditions. The version is available in different shades.
The Lone Peak you know and love with some trail-tested upgrades. Along with a simplified lacing system, this new model has been trimmed down for more flexibility and comfort while retaining the original feel and legacy you know and love. We’ve carried over classic features like StoneGuard™ for lightweight rock protection and MaxTrac™ with a multi-directional lug pattern for traction on any terrain. So far Altra is the only shoes i would use for trail run. Very comfortable to wear although i have a bunion. Comes with good grip and very light.

Love these shoes, great for trails, only shoes I can run on gravel for 20+km and no sore feet!! Last pair did over 2000 km.. hopefully these do too. I went down half a size from "lone peak 3" as sizing was different.

This is my 5th pair of 4.5 lone peaks, they are so comfortable on the trails, toe area is the best. Wont run is anything else.

As expected, great shoes! Rather a moderator's terrain than technical with good dynamics and great grip on forest and meadow! Road is still going well. Deep mud is not his.
