Escalante 2 is a running shoe for women that provides you with important benefits, including breathability in the upper area due to the inclusion of additional perforations.
Other element included in this model is a better fit for your foot, allowing the movements you perform to be more flexible and comfortable. Inside, the version incorporates a template that improves resistance. The closure of the version is the traditional one with laces distributed along the instep for a better fit.
Wearing this sports shoes for women you will experience a pleasant feeling between them because it has high levels of compression. As for the reduction of impacts, it has an uncoupled Altra EGO midsole that allows you a sensitive but smooth ride. The version is available in a variety of colors.
Our best debut ever is back with subtle tweaks. We increased the decoupling in the Altra EGOTM midsole and outsole for more flexibility. A new knit with more perforations has increased the breath ability while still maintaining that classic Escalante comfort but with a more secure fit for better performance. We´ve also added a new long lasting PU insole and a new Dri-Lex® Dri-Freeze heel liner to provide a more comfortable and better on foot feel.

I am a huge fan of all Altra shoes with the Escalante my go-to for daily training and road races. They are super cushioned and super light. The wide toe box and zero drops makes running a dream. Totally love version 2.

I've had these shoes for a little over a year now (model 1.5) for work, worn indoors, for which thy are perfect because of their breathability and ample cushioning. I also wear them for long walkes on pavement. For offroad use they are a bit too wobbly for my feet, but as I didn't get them for that, I can say they are just perfect. The textile upper wears out pretty quickly when worn daily, at least in the previous 1.5 model.

I have used Escalante 1.5, Escalante racer edition and now Escalante 2. While the racer edition remains my all-time favorite with its light-weight, immediate future and responsiveness, Escalante 2 needs some breaking in and seems to run half a size smaller. However the responsiveness is all there. I had my second run of the day in the evening and whilst I had wanted to do a slow run, this new pair that I received fresh out of box seemed like an over-enthusiastic dog eager for its first walk (run). I wore it and it’s responsiveness felt surreal.. I get being dragged forwarded by it to be honest lol. It sure doesn’t allow u to go too slow, and I guess that’s a good thing!

I have perished excellent, very light and above all very comfortable, I have more perception in my foot when running or walking with them. Very good product and a good choice.
