I have used them to run on terrain that is dirt and stones (in the middle of the field) in a somewhat desert environment, and the truth is that compared to the ultra boost I prefer these since they weigh less (or it gives me that feeling) and when stepping on the stones (something that is inevitable running on terrain like this) you do not notice any type of discomfort in the foot. In addition, the cushioning is very good, for me the best I've tried from Adidas (which are quite a few).

The shoes are great but to make them even better: 1. The heel lockdown needs to be improved. I find this same issue with my Pureboost and Ultraboost but not with my NMDs. The foams are not thick enough. my heel noticeably lifts off the inner sole giving me the feeling that the shoes are going to fly off my feet 2. Inner soles with arch support should be an option. 3. Some of the lugs should be countering the direction of the majority of slugs at the forefoot and heel. Due to all of the slugs in the same direction at the front and heel, I sometimes slip in the opposite direction of the slugs if I land on that part of my feet with the momentum, force or slope along that opposite direction of the slugs.

Bought these for walking mainly but some light running too. Thought they’d be good for the winter and they’re so comfortable, barely take them off. Feel very much like ultraboosts but with the rugged bottom of a trail shoe, which by the way is actually ridiculously grippy, constantly find myself underestimating the grip on tarmac and almost tripping myself up. Think at retail they’re a bit on the expensive side but on sale would 100% recommend
