adidas Solar Glide ST Running Shoes

Created specifically for pronator runners, these running shoes from adidas combine the best features of the revolutionary Solar series. Light, flexible and very comfortable, the Solar Glide ST are a winning bet for urban running and training.

Being adidas’ trademark cushioning solution, the Boost midsole is slightly thicker and denser in the Solar Glide ST in comparison to the normal version, creating an outstanding responsiveness that provides higher support and momentum at every step. In the midfoot, these sneakers also feature a double degree of stabilization, with both the Torsion System in the plantar arch and the Solar Propulsion Rail across the foot providing higher impulse during the gait.

A Continental rubber outsole provides great traction, in concordance to the Stretchweb tech that follows the contours and shape of the foot’s sole like a spider web and increases grip on both track and street. Although the upper follows the same design as the original Solar Glide, adidas has added a wider, more padded tongue to increase the shoes’ grip at all times. These running shoes are built to tackle longer runs. A supportive stability rail works with the responsive midsole and flexible outsole for a smooth and energised run. The heel counter locks in the fit while allowing the Achilles to move freely.
