Neutral
The foot lands on the outside of the heel and then turns inward (patrons) to absorb shock and support the weight of the body.
Pronation
The footsteps on the outside of the heel, then turn inwards (pronated) excessively, transferring weight to the inside edge of the ball of the foot.
Supination
The outside of the heel strikes the ground at a greater angle with little or no inward rollover (pronation), resulting in strong transmissibility of impact along the lower leg.
